Our Department, which conducts research and studies on Medical Education, creates educational strategies for the faculty, closely monitors the education system currently used and monitors the necessary improvements, was established in 2001.

It is the unit that plays an active role in monitoring international developments and changes in medical education, monitoring the education and training activities of our faculty through surveys, drawing conclusions, preparing solutions to problems and developing strategies.

Our department plans the necessary infrastructure for the adaptation of contemporary developments in medical education to our faculty and advises the faculty administration on educational activities. In addition to these services, it ensures that pre-graduate medical education is in accordance with the conditions of the day and the needs of the country with the practical training provided in Professional Skills Laboratories. It contributes to the development of good teaching qualities of faculty members through train-the-trainer courses. By playing an active role in the preparation of the curriculum, it strives to ensure that education and training are in accordance with the integrated system, supportive of student participation and compatible with the core curriculum.

Since 2020, the Head of the Department has been Assist. Prof. Dr. Esra ÇINAR TANRIVERDİ has been the Head of the Department since 2020 and consists of a Assist. Prof. Dr., an IT staff, a secretary and a cleaning staff.

Our Mission
