With the support of Atatürk University Rectorate; Organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Clinical Research Development Design Center and Undergraduate Students Research Office, “2. Entrepreneurship and Innovation Student Congress in Medicine and Health” Prof. Dr. Elif Çadırcı and Prof. Dr. It was held online between 31.05.2022 and 01.06.2022 under the chairmanship of Muhammet Hamidullah Uyanık. At the congress, Atatürk University Turkish and English Faculty of Medicine 1st year students had the opportunity to present their academic, social and industry-supported interesting projects on entrepreneurship or innovation with their advisors.
Director of the Institute of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Elif Çadırcı and Dean of Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. The congress started with the opening speeches of Fatih Albayrak and continued with the presentations of invited speakers Doğan Taşkent on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Turkish Pharmaceutical Industry”, “Artificial Intelligence in Health” by Mustafa Said Kartal and “From Observation to Project” by Furkan Güneş. In the congress, students presented their projects in sessions titled “Immunology and Innovative Ideas, Medical Equipment and Innovative Ideas, Medical Education and Innovation, Virtual Systems in Health, Software and Innovation, Public Health and Innovative Ideas, Neuroinnovation”. With the projects they prepared, the students not only created awareness about the health problems of the society, but also produced new innovative ideas that could bring solutions to these problems.
