After a long preparation process with the cooperation of Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine faculty and students, the ‘Student Scientific Research Congress’ (ÖBAK-2022) was held on 02-03 June 2022 with the support of Atatürk University Rectorate. Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine Deputy Dean Prof. Dr. Muhammet Hamidullah Uyanık, the presidents of the congress Prof. Dr. Yasemin Cayir, Dr. Instructor Member Esra Çınar Tanrıverdi, Dr. Instructor Member Kamber Kasali, faculty members and many students attended. Within the scope of the congress, 34 social responsibility projects and 33 scientific research projects prepared by the students with the support of their advisors were presented. The social responsibility projects implemented by the students by working interdisciplinary with the awareness of social responsibility for the social environment in which they live were shared in the form of video recordings. The students, who took an active role in the period from the design to the execution and reporting of a scientific study, presented the best examples of team spirit with the original research they prepared with a scientific and analytical approach. It is planned that the student congress, which demonstrates the sensitivity of students to scientific research, development and social sensitivity in our faculty, will continue in the coming years as interdisciplinary with the cooperation of student and faculty members.
