Within the framework of the New Generation University Design and Transformation Project, which was implemented to determine the vision of Atatürk University, a Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting was held with the participation of unit managers and academicians.
At the Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting initiated under the chairmanship of Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, our faculty dean Prof. Dr. Fatih ALBAYRAK made a presentation about the work done in our faculty.
At the meeting, which was held with the participation of Vice Rectors, Faculty Board of Directors, Department and Department Heads of the Faculty of Medicine, Atatürk University Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Çomaklı, who made a general evaluation of the programme and expressed his satisfaction with the path taken as a research university, said in his speech: “As a university, we carry out our studies with the aim of becoming a research-oriented university that produces qualified scientific knowledge at a universal level, conducts R&D activities, produces technology, transforms it into patents and offers the science it produces for the benefit of society. With the new projects developed and the studies carried out, we aim to go higher than the rankings we are in every field. The work carried out by our academicians contributes positively to both the development of the sense of belonging and the increase in the quality of the studies.”
Our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Fatih ALBAYRAK gave general information about the activities carried out in our Faculty under the main headings of Education, Research, Contribution to Society within the framework of the New Generation University vision and emphasised the importance of the activities to be carried out in 7 layers consisting of the blending of the mission areas of our University. Prof. Dr. Fatih ALBAYRAK gave information about the activities of our Faculty in 2023 and presented our current situation on the indicators determined by YÖK in comparison with the previous year. He also evaluated the “TÜBİTAK Field-Based Analysis” in terms of our unit.
In the last part of the meeting, opinions and suggestions were received from vice rectors, vice deans and heads of departments.
